Reusable Bottles & Cans
Reusable glass bottles in both 500ml and 1 litre sizes are available for purchase from our farm shop. Customers are able to dispense their own Whole or Semi-Skimmed milk from our new vending machine, keeping waste to a minimum, whilst enjoying the same farm fresh milk we are known for.

Refillable Milk Pails
We can supply larger volumes of milk to wholesale customers in a reusable, food grade milk pail. With a 15 litre capacity and a convenient tap for easy dispensing, in a commercial environment, these pails can dramatically reduce the amount of plastic waste entering the recycling system.

Solar Power
We have installed a 50kw solar panel system on the roof of our barn. We use the power generated by these to run the robots and other farm equipment and we have now reached 80% self-sufficiency as a result. Park Farm is also home to a 22-acre solar park. There are 18,000 panels in the park which produce enough electricity each year to supply 800-850 homes. In the summer months, we graze sheep under the panels and the park is also home to several beehives, with the first swarm due to be sited here in 2019.

At Park Farm we use a traditional crop rotation plan to ensure that our soil remains rich and fertile. Some crops take more from the soil than others while some actually add nutrients. For these reasons, we use a traditional crop rotation plan to maintain or improve soil fertility.
